NotesHandwritten on verso: From an old 5x8 negative of Grandpa's and Grandma's home 1134 Republican St. after they had cut Dexter Avenue thru the garden. This neg is about 60 years old and the photo was made by Uncle Tom or [illeg.] Denny, with old 5x8 [illeg.] camera just about the time photography was getting a start. This home was built in 1871.

Handwritten on negative jacket: 5305. Old Seattle. Grandpa and Grandma Denny's old home 1134 Republican St after Dexter Ave was graded thru showing the tank house, the wind mill tower house and Big Popular tree. Dexter Street ran thru the garden spot.
