This photo was made in late 1880's or early 1890's. When Uncle Tom showed him the negative he said, "I ain't so black as dat." See # 5334-5335. Original neg by Tom Denny.|
Handwritten on negative jacket: #5337. Old Seattle. Copy of faded print of old Indian Zickcuse. Uncle Tom make a photo of him and when he showed Zickcuse the neg, old fellow said, "I am not so black as dat."
