emigrants
going

western
Washington
to

etc at his
place
during
the
winter.
We
had a
cabin
at
head
of the
lake
and he
helped
us a
great
deal.
I
used
to
go
up
to
[illeg.]
on
east
end
of
[illeg.]
tunnel
for
mail
and
camp
supplies
for the
Esther
Camp
at
head
of
Gold
Creek.
Cabin
at
another
end
of
lake
was
headquarters
for the
mine.
