NotesHandwritten on verso: Chris Hanson's cabin at south end of Lake Ketcheles [sic.] east side of Snoqualmie Pass. Chris was a hermit and a trapper. We had a cabin at head of the lake and he helped us a great deal. I used to go up to [illeg.] on east end of [illeg.] tunnel for mail and camp supplies for the Esther Camp at head of Gold Creek.
