Handwritten on negative jacket: May 11, 1907. Chelan Transfers Big Six passing Pattersons Ranch near Chelan Canyon. This was a crack team and was freighting from Chelan Falls on Columbia River to towns of Chelan and Lakeside, a distance of four miles. There was a heavy grade from Chelan Falls to Patterson Ranch. Freight came up river by steamboat from Wenatchee. |
