| Notes | Named for the Snoqualmie people, Snoqualmie Falls is a 268' tall waterfall, located between the towns of Snoqualmie and Fall City. For the Snoqualmie, the falls is a scared site. Two hydroelectric power plants are operated at the falls. Plant One was built in 1898, and at the base of the falls. Plant Two was completed in 1910 and is downstream of the falls, along the Snoqualmie River. Further downstream is the fertile Snoqualmie River valley. |
