NotesKeekeesiblue, also known as "Princess Angeline", was the daughter of Chief Seattle. After her father's death in 1866, she lived on the waterfront, wove baskets and sold them on the streets of Seattle. Baskets like this one of coiled cedar root were made for gathering and food preparation.
