| Notes | Seattle's Moran Brothers Shipyard built a dozen shallow-draft steamers for use on the Yukon River during the Klondike Gold Rush. Robert Moran personally escorted the twelve boats from Seattle to the mouth of the Yukon River, a distance of 3000 miles of hazardous waters. |
