NotesSeineing is fishing using a seine, and was originally developed in Denmark and used here on Puget Sound. A seine is a large fishing net that hangs vertically in the water from floats on the water surface to weights attached to the net's bottom edge. Boats equipped for seine fishing are called seiners.
