NotesBella Weretnikow Rosenbaum was one of two women in the University of Washington's first law school class in 1901. Soon after, she became Seattle's first Jewish female attorney. She married Lewis N. (L.N.) Rosenbaum, an attorney from Nashville, in 1905. They raised five children, three sons and two daughters.
