NotesBoris Dolgoff (front row, center) organized the Hazomir Singing Club (or Hazomir Choral Society) in 1925. The group mostly sang Yiddish folk songs.

Note from donor file: It was a choir assembled and trained by Boris Dolgoff which sang on every occasion when they were asked to participate; ca. 1924. 1st row (L to R): Edith Dolgoff (Mrs. Morris Polack), pianist Sophie Goldberg Krom. 2nd row: Bessie Shain, Masha Dumanis (good singer), ?, Boris Dolgoff (Director), Sally Wolf, Diana Dolgoff Russak (Mrs. Louis), Morris Poll. 3rd row: Meyer Gorelick, Morris Feldman, Al Dolgoff, Sam Dolgoff, Aaron Dolgoff, Jack Schacher, Louis Russak, Abe Poll, Abe Danz, Frank Kane.
