| Notes | Note from donor file: Ethel Chaiken Kaiser, 1962. In Israel at a Hebrew speaking class shortly after her arrival to establish residency there. Grandfather changed name to Chaiken.
Born July 27, 1914 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Moved to Seattle one year later. Schooled in Seattle Public Schools. Univ. of Wash. until 1936. Was active in Seattle chapter of Hadassah (president) and other communal endeavors. Married 1937 - Benton M. Lippman, also UW graduate. Raised 3 children - Lev, Susan, Frank. Worked in professional publicity. Director of public relations - King Co. Library System, 1957-1962. July 1962 - established residency in Israel and became engaged there in social welfare, educational and medical services through women's voluntary organizations until 1977. 1st marriage terminated in 1963. Married 1966 in Israel, Fred Kaiser.
