| Notes | Caption filed with photograph: On Say to Sai Soc - Senator Henry M. Jackson, of Washington, straps himself into an Army helicopter at Vung Tau in South Vietnam. Jackson, on a pre-Christmas tour of the battle areas, flew to the village of Sai Soc in the Mekong Delta where South Vietnamese were establishing new community action programs while warding off forays of the Viet Cong. The helicopter trip was over an area partly controlled by the Cong. |
