Jackson (D-Wash.) took the opportunity to show a picture of his eight-month-old daughter, Anna Marie, and Mrs. Jackson when delegates to the National Federation of Grandmothers Clubs convention in Washington, D.C., were in his office this week. Pictured, left to right, are Senator Jackson, Mrs. Ethel Berry, Seattle, Mrs. Sarah Nagler, Yakima, Mrs. Nellie Haverty, Mrs. Reba Warner and Mrs. Esther Paine, all of Seattle. The visitors boasted of a total of 52 grandchildren, while Mrs. Warner also has four great grandchildren. Mrs. Nagler said that her family, which includes 18 grandchildren, presented her with the trip east in honor of her 95th birthday |
