Contextual NotesThe "Farm-in-a Day" in 1952 was the most publicized of the celebrations that marked the first delivery of water from the Grand Coulee Dam to the lands of the Columbia Basin Project. The lucky recipient of this ready made farm was Donald D. Dunn, a Korean War veteran who had lost his Kansas farm in a flood.
