CaptionFront of Oscar F. Blomeen's house, located at 324 B Street NE, Auburn.
Constructed 1912-1914, it was built and designed by Oscar Blomeen. During World War I Oscar rented the house to a Mrs. Stone, who operated Auburn's first hospital here in order to deal with the 1917-1919 flu epidemic. She later used it as a maternity ward.
Description: house with corner turret with conical roof and ornate curved veranda.
