CaptionThe Erickson Band, Julius Erickson, leader, was Auburn's first band.
The Band was formed by Julius Erickson in 1893; it disbanded in 1902.
They wore uniforms of white blouses, brilliant red flannel trousers and jaunty red caps with white tassels.
