| Photographer | Unknown |
| Date | ca. 1944 |
| Caption | Minidoka, Idaho, was one of ten internment camps for Japanese and Japanese Americans during World War II. It held people originally from Seattle, Portland, Puyallup Valley, and Alaska. |
| Notes | Two of the women are wearing candy-striper uniforms.
Photo apparently taken at the same time appeared in December 23, 1944 issue of the camp newspaper, the Minidoka Irrigator, with the following caption: Evacuee babies, two weeks old, and born at the local hospital, take a sleepy look at the world from the maternity ward. In spite of serious shortages of nurse's aides, the hospital has been run with utmost efficiency and deserves the thanks of every resident.
