CaptionMrs. Brown and Jennie Sessions ran this shop at 4868 Rainier Avenue. Jennie came out to Seattle by train from Wisconsin to go into business with Jennie. They had gone to millinery school in New York together to learn to make the hats shown in the window display. She met her future husband while traveling on the train where he was an employee.
