| Caption | This project was typical of the grading and paving necessary to have cement streets in the hilly Rainier Valley. This particular project was in front of the home of attorney Phil Weiss and his wife, Marion. They built the home on Hudson Street in 1928 and lived with the dirt, gravel and dust for 21 years. |
| Notes | Handwritten on verso: 6/13/49. They graded & paved on Hudson, in front of our house on 6/13. Phil & Marion Southard Weiss built the house in 1928, 21 yrs prior to paving. Phil. |
