Handwritten on verso: Old Rainier Valley Southern street car barn on Rainier Ave between Hudson St & Dawson St. on west side of Ra. Ave.
Seattle Renton & Southern Ry. (Rainier Valley Line) barn was between Hudson St. and Dawson St. on Rainier at 39th & Farrar St. Car line quit Dec. 31, 1936. Bert Cohrs had next to last car. 1.05 am Jan 1, 1937 last car left Seattle. 2.00 am Finis.
Man with long coat & mustache is Westinghouse elec. Eng. Mr. Veshlage.
Car 29 built by St Louis Car Co 1905. New Cars 111 & 114 built by Cincinnati Car Co. 1914. Cars 105 & 109 built by Moran Shipyard Seattle 1910. Cars 205 - 203 - 206 built by Maguire Car Co 1910. These three cars used in Chicago area then sold 1914 to SR&S Ry. Unloaded at Bryn Mawr Mill Co. Car 100 was originally Car 102 which was wrecked 1910, rebuilt and became 109 - in 1911, no 102 after this date.
