CaptionO'Hara's store and boathouse was located on the shores of Lake Washington at Rainier Beach Station. It was a popular picnic location for Rainier Valley residents. Before the streetcar was extended to Renton, it was the end of the line. The streetcar company developed a picnic area for Rainier Valley residents as well as picnickers from downtown Seattle.
