paving
of the
center
of
Rainier
Avenue
where
the
streetcar
tracks
had been
removed.
The
parade
route
went
all
the
way
from
Dearborn
Street
to
Rainier
Beach
and
back
, with
ribbon
cuttings
in
every
community.
