|Title||Eloise Fleury Archambeau and an unidentified woman, possibly in Renton, 1880 |
|Notes||Eloise Fleury Archambeau was a resident of Renton [cataloger's note].|
Handwritten on verso: Standing: Eloise Fleury Archambeau, Date 1880, Married 1881.
Letter filed with image: The standing figure in the picture is my mother Eloise Fleury wearing the little taffeta cape enclosed. I'm not sure but I think it was taken before her marriage which was in 1881. Probably it could be dated ca. 1880. Her married name was Archambeau.[End of paragraph.] The French prayer book has the imprimatur date on the last page Aug. 1848. I don't know who in the family owned it originally but somehow or other it fell into my hands. [End of paragraph.] Since I have no one to leave these to, I'm glad to have them be in the Renton Museum where they will be well taken care of. [End of paragraph.] Thank you, Jo Waldo.
