Mr. Burtenshaw was the original surveyor of the Hobart Highline Cemetery. He also served as road supervisor and justice of the peace. The three children were born in Oregon. 1 Nancy (illegible) Burtenshaw Sandahl; 2 Hannah Melissa Lindley Burtenshaw (Mrs. William), born in Oregon; 3 E. Stella Burtenshaw; 4 William Alfred Burtenshaw, born in Kentucky; 5 Oscar, William's son. William and Hannah had three more children born in Maple Valley, Washington. |
