NotesHandwritten not in sleeve: This picture was taken by Puget Power for their employee newsletter on May 6 or 7. Leo Kessler, Mel Wik, and Elmo Lewis are the P.P. employees on the restored Howard Cooper Fire Engine. These fellows used P.P. equipment to move the wooden water pipe and container on March 14 1992. Also on 3/7 a P.P. flat bed truck was used as staging for the installation of plaster board in Fire Engine Bldg. All this was done without cost for the M.V. Hist. Soc. Lee gave this picture to the Society on 5/16/92. -- MS.

Puget Power brought water pipe in photo to Maple Valley Historical Society's Fire Engine site [Maple Valley Historical Society note].

Puget Sound Power and Light Company also known as Puget Sound Power & Light Company, and Puget Power (Firm) [note information taken from the Library of Congress Name Authority File].
