| Notes | Note filed with image: [The school] was located on the east side of the present day Maple Valley Highway between Western Sand and Gravel and Lake Wilderness Village. (In 1995 Gloria's Restaurant was located on the site.) Not all the members of the Daling school have been identified, circa 1902. The man with the watch fob on the left is Sam Huet, his hand is on Mayme Crosson's shoulder, the boy next to her is Carl Nelson, in front of her is Henry Schlotman, the two boys kneeling are Nils Lagesson and Walfred Marker. In the back row are Reed's brother, and H.S. Reed, the teacher; next row, Loree Nelson, Sofia Huet, unknown and Mary Huet; two students on stump, Charles Crosson and Amelia Nelson; then Annie Crosson, Sam Marker, boy behind and next unknown, on end is Willie Marker. Two boys in front are unknown.
