| Caption | Four of the auto racers in this photo have been identified: Jerry Ruth, known for some time as "The King, " on the far right with hands outstretched; A.R. Kielland on the far left; David Weiss second from the left; and Jerry Verhuel next to the far right. These men raced at Pacific Raceways, and Verhuel later had a successful career in unlimited hydropalne racing. The man wearing a black shirt with a white t-shirt underneath is Tommy Ivo, a famous drag racer and actor. |
