| Caption | Some Seattle businesses advertised on theater curtains. This photo, taken at the Argus Theatre sometime after 1903, shows an ad for Schwabacher Bros. & Co. Schwabacher Brothers was a wholesale grocery firm which sold canned goods, cigars, coffee and other products throughout the northwest. The company even had permanent agents in Alaska to supply the Alaskan trade. |
