| Title | Bridge construction at the Green River Gorge, ca. 1914 |
| Photographer | Nowell, Frank H., 1864-1950 |
| Date | ca. 1914 |
| Caption | In 1914 and 1915, workers replaced the old road bridge which crossed the Green River Gorge near Franklin, Washington. The old bridge had been built in the late 1880s. This photo shows both the old and the new bridges. Compare the size of the workmen waving from the unfinished bridge with the size of the structures and the depth of the gorge. |
