| Title | Summit of Snoqualmie Pass: elevation 3010 ft., ca. 1930 |
| Photographer | Juleen, J.A. (John Albert) |
| Date | ca. 1930 |
| Caption | Once the railroad and the Sunset Highway were built through Snoqualmie Pass, it was easier for tourists to reach the summit, some 3, 010 feet above sea level. Some visited for the day and others rented cabins for a longer stay. This photographic postcard, probably made around 1930, shows two cabins on the Sunset Highway at the summit of Snoqualmie Pass. The American Automobile Association put up the elevation and direction sign at the right of the photograph. |
