TitleFall City High School, ca. 1920
PhotographerWebster & Stevens
Dateca. 1920
CaptionIn 1908, James Stephen, Seattle school architect, was joined in business by his son, Frederick Bennett Stephen. The firm of Stephen & Stephen designed public school buildings from Vancouver and Port Townsend in western Washington to Wenatchee and Ellensburg in the central part of the state.
This photo, probably taken in the 1920s, shows Stephen & Stephen's Fall City High School, built in 1915. After area high school districts consolidated, the brick, terra cotta and concrete building served as the city's elementary school until it was torn down in the 1970s.
