| Photographer | Unknown |
| Date | 1914 |
| Caption | Lulu Fairbanks was an active member of the Mountaineers and kept a scrapbook of their activities. This photo is part of her chapter on the dedication of the lodge near Rockdale in the Snoqualmie Pass region. On June 21, 1914, a group of Mountaineers took the train from Seattle and climbed up to their new lodge, which was still under construction. Following a dedication ceremony and lunch, they explored the nearby terrain, enjoying the waterfalls and mountain views. Ms. Fairbanks remarks how Denny Mountain is visible from the lodge trail. The woman in this photo may possibly be Lulu Fairbanks. |
