| Caption | Built in 1921, the Big Four Inn was located about 25 miles east of Granite Falls, Washington, in Snohomish County. A popular destination through the 1920s, the resort fell on hard times by the 1940s with the beginning of World War II. The inn was destroyed by fire in the early morning hours of September 7, 1949. |
