The Clipper 314 provided unprecedented style and luxury to its passengers. Amenities for 70 passengers (40 if in a sleeper configuration) included a lounge, dining salon, dressing rooms for both men and women, and even a bridal suite. The first 6 Clippers were commissioned by Pan-American Airlines for use on their transoceanic flights. Only 12 Clippers were ever built. |
