| Photographer | Potts, Dave Seattle Post-Intelligencer |
| Date | 1967 |
| Caption | After initial formation in Boise, Idaho, Paul Revere and the Raiders made their base in Portland, Oregon. Famous for their onstage antics and Revolutionary War period costumes the band gained national exposure spending two years as the house band for Dick Clark's afternoon television music program "Where the Action Is." They had 4 songs reach the top 10 between 1966 and 1967 and a number one hit with "Indian Reservation" in 1971. In 1961 the band recorded their version of our beloved Northwest anthem "Louie, Louie." Here, the band is possibly promoting a 1967 album release. |
