CaptionSeattle's Magnolia School opened in a portable school building in September 1922. Until the 1927-28 school year, it was run by the principal of the Interbay School. The school's first permanent building opened in 1931.

This February 1942 photo shows kindergarten students at Magnolia School in Seattle. One boy stacks blocks and two girls play with a toy stove while another girl paints hearts at an easel.
