CaptionIn 1924 Helen Taylor Bush began a school in the playroom of her Denny Blaine home in Seattle. The school expanded through the years and acquired additional properties in the neighborhood. At the time this photograph was taken, Parkside was the name of the elementary school connected with Bush.
