CaptionThe Paul Bunyan Kitchen was a cafe in the basement of the Frederick & Nelson Department Store that served sandwiches, salads, and soda fountain drinks. It was a favorite with families when they went shopping in downtown Seattle. The murals illustrate the legend of the logging hero Paul Bunyan.
