| Caption | Robert 'Bobby' Morris was a graduate of Broadway High School in Seattle and served as a basketball and football referee in the Pacific Coast conference until 1940. He also served as chief judge at the Longacres Race track, was the president of the Seattle Chapter of the National Football Foundation and later became the King County Auditor. In 1980, one year after his death, the city of Seattle renamed the Broadway Playing Field to Morris Playing Field in his honor.
