| Photographer | Webster & Stevens |
| Date | 1926 |
| Caption | After World War I ended, home building boomed all over the United States. This included West Seattle, which was now connected to Seattle by ferry, streetcar, and road. More and more people owned cars, and builders began to include garages in their new houses. This photo shows a new home on Sunset Avenue in West Seattle, with its garage and its views of the water and mountains. |
