| Caption | Minnie Kennedy, a devoted and active member of the Salvation Army, married the fifty year-old Methodist James Kennedy when she was fifteen. Better known was their daughter, Aimee Semple McPherson, who became a very famous, if not notorious, evangelist with a large following in Canada and the United States and who eventually founded the Foursquare Gospel Church. |
