Handwritten on verso: 1960. Winter Morning, Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier. Mt. St. Helens & Mt. Hood in Background. From Seattles Madrona district. Of the hundreds of pictures of Mt. Rainier that have appeared in the Seattle Times this one has had the most acceptance and response. More than 30 years after it appeared I still get requests for illustration use or for office or home decor.
