CaptionThe Olympic Golf and Country Club was located at NW 90th Street and 19th NW north of Ballard at what is today Olympic Manor housing development. In 1950, part of the property was sold to a real estate developer and part taken over by the federal government for a defense installation. This land later became the site of Whitman Middle School and Soundview Park.
