CaptionThe 'Alarwee, ' a twin-screw diesel fantail yacht, was designed by L.E. 'Ted' Geary and built by Ballard Marine Railway Company in 1925. She had an 83-foot deck length with a 79-foot waterline and two 4-cylinder Atlas diesels. Owned by A.S. Eldridge, a member of the Seattle Yacht Club, the 'Alarwee' was used to transport Charles Lindbergh from Sand Point Field to the University of Washington stadium on his 1927 trip to Seattle.
