| Photographer | Webster & Stevens |
| Date | 1945 |
| Caption | This school at 144 North 54th Street was named for a Seattle school board member who helped to plan its construction but died prior to its completion. F.A. McDonald School opened in 1914 with only the younger grades, and became a K-8th grade school with several hundred students by the 1920s.
