CaptionE. Russell "Noodles" Smith was born in Missouri and came to Seattle in 1909. He was a well-known nightclub proprietor, running the Golden West Club during the 1920s and the Black and Tan Club in the 1930s. He retired from the nightclub business around 1940 and devoted his time to real estate and philanthropy.
NotesHandwritten on sleeve: 4 men (2 beside car) with car - "Noodles" Smith at wheel.
