| Historical Background | The Pacific Science Center was originally the U.S. Science Exhibit constructed for the Seattle World's Fair in 1962. When the Fair closed in October of 1962, the Pacific Science Center Foundation was formed and the Federal Government agreed to permit to the Foundation the property for their use and operation in the furtherance of scientific education. |
