| General Notes | This is plate number 259 taken from "Herbarium Blackwellianum...". It illustrates the plant "ranunculus palustris" (cursed crowfoot).
"Herbarium Blackwellianum" is a reprint of Elizabeth Blackwell's "Curious Herbal" with all plates re-drawn by N.F. Eisenberger. It was published in five volumes over the course of ten years (1750-1760) with a supplement of over 100 extra plates in 1773.
