BindingBound in full leather over paper. Tacketed with vellum strips, sewn with braided leather and 3 probable vegetal cords.
Tooled in blind with handle tools. Binding sufficiently damaged that pattern is difficult to see.
Center strap which closed foredge exists as a fragment.
Linen headbands.
Evidence of painted coat of arms (?) on top edge.
Textblock starting in covers.
General NotesSignatures: handwritten ff. [1] 1-28 30 30 31-59 61-68 68 69-78 80-206 107-130 [= 229] [10].
Paper is heavier stock than that used for printing.
Water damage throughout.
Bookworm damage.
Difficult to interpret handwritten title. Transcription remains open to correction.
Title page translation: To the Excellent, Most High, Lord. In the name of the Lord. Amen. (A list) of contracts, and pledges (or securities), and in the end a table of the names, and of the surnames of those making the contracts and pledges, together with a registration of blood relatives and of relatives by marriage.
Leaf 128: "Tabula fideiubentium, et pacem facientium, etiam cum annotatione consa[n]guineorum, et eor[um] affinium iux[ta] novam ordinatione[m] S.C. tempore Tiberii de magistris Potis[simis], anno d[omi]ni 1606. --- Translated as: A list of those pledging, and of those making the contract, with also a registration of the blood relatives, and of their relatives by marriage according to
