| Notes | Caption included with image: 'MARCUS MOVES"-- WPA clearing oprations have reached the historic town of Marcus. One of the last meals served in the Marcus railroad yard restaurant by James Mullen and his wife before closing the doors for the last time on March 20th, was to their son, Charles. Mr. Mullen first came to Marcus in 1895 and has operated the depot's restaurant, or "Beanery", with his wife, for the past 18 years. They are going to New Marcus and "rest for a while". They remember boom days in Marcus before the railroad moved its Division office from Marcus to Spokane in the early twenties.
